Day 2: Week of Love Giveaway

My Week of Love continues with more goodies.

First, the winner from yesterday’s giveaway is:

#9 is Vamped Chick. Congratulations! I sent you an email this morning. If you didn't receive it, please let me know.

There were some great responses. Thanks for sharing your most romantic gifts with me. My hubby is pretty good in the romance department. He's given me lots of romantic gifts over the years, but the one that always stands out the most was a surprise trip for my birthday when we were dating. Let's just say it involved a German castle (disclaimer: we were living in Germany at the time), an intimate dinner, and a huge red box that barely fit in the trunk of the car. It was the first time a guy had put real effort and detailed planning into sweeping me off my feet. I'll never forget how special I felt.

Now for today's giveaway.

One online retailer I’m in luv with is Amazon.

This affair of the wallet started while I was living overseas. It allowed me to purchase almost anything I wanted from the United States with ease and efficiency.

So, today’s giveaway is a $5 Amazon gift card.

For a chance to win, all you have to do is leave a comment letting me know if you celebrate Valentine’s Day or treat it like any other day and why. That’s it.

  1. Yes, we always celebrate. This year we want to spend the afternoon watching movies and making pizza and heart donuts :)

  2. We don't celebrate Valentine's Day here in my country so it's just another day.

  3. I prefer a quiet night with my hubby, almost like an ordinary night, maybe something special to eat & drink.

  5. I celebrate with my kids and grandkids. Since I'm divorced and don't have a significant other I usually babysit so my daughters can celebrate with their husbands.

  10. It depends on the year - last year we celebrated by going out to a nice dinner together and then seeing a movie afterwards. I don't know about this year yet.

  11. Even though I enjoy Valentine's Day, I don't exactly celebrate it. I sometimes read themed books on this day, though!

  12. We don't make a big deal of Valentines, so although it's not quite like any other day, it's pretty low key.

  14. I do celebrate a little bit but nothing big. This year I'm going to dinner with my mom - it's more just a day that you can use as an excuse to treat yourself (and others!) a little extra special

  15. Depends on the year. If broke it is like another day but if we have money we do something nice.

  17. Wow your hubby sounds awesome! Love the German castle idea.
My hubby is pretty romantic too. A couple years ago, we renewed our vows on Valentines at the beach, so that was really special to know he'd marry me all over again. :)
Hope you have a happy <3 Day Friday!!
